Marie T. (Cataldo) Marchi, of Medford, died Wednesday at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 76.

Mrs. Marchi was born and raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Carmela (Fucillo) Cataldo. A Medford resident for many years, Marie was a devoted wife and mother. She was an active parishoner at St. Joseph Church in Medford Sq. For many years she worked as a waitress at Arthur D. Little Co. in Cambridge. In her retirement she worked part-time with Century Bank in Somerville.

She was the beloved wife of the late William P. Marchi. She was a devoted mother to William N. Marchi of Medford, Lisa P. Scott of Florida, and the late Steven E. Marchi. She was a loving grandmother to Steven A. Marchi, Michael E. Marchi, Ronald W. Scott and Nicholas Scott. Sister of the late Ausilio Cataldo, Carmela Donadio, and George Cataldo. She was a dear aunt to Angela Aloisi, Marie DiChiara, Gabriel Donadio and many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Friday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offered, Saturday February 3rd at 9 AM in St. Joseph Church, Medford. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
