Claire E. L’Etoile–Angelini, 84, formerly of Mendon Rd. and Hillside Ave. Woonsocket died Monday morning at The Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late Normand O. L’Etoile and Frank Angelini.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Rosaire and Yvonne (Armstrong) Lacombe. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Claire was the first female manager at the former Rhode Island Hospital Trust Bank in Cumberland and later was employed as the office manager at Blackman Insurance Agency in East Greenwich.
She enjoyed reading, was well-versed on many subjects and had a special place in her heart for animals.
Claire was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons Dennis L’Etoile and his wife, Sharon, of Virginia and Daniel L’Etoile and his wife, Patricia, of Woonsocket, and a step-daughter Maureen Angelini of New Hampshire. She is also survived by four grandchildren Christopher, Kelly, Amie and Sara, 3 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be Thursday at 11:30 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
