DAVIS, Katherine Ann 83, of Dedham passed away April 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine was born April 17, 1931 in Mattapan. She was the daughter of Edwin F. Davis and Catherine (Myles) Davis. She was a graduate of Dedham High School, class of 1949 and attended Boston University.
Katherine worked for the telephone company for thirty-four years and rose through the ranks to obtain the position of Senior Manager. She was a longtime member of the Norfolk Golf Club and an avid bowler. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish since 1938.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin F. Davis, Jr., also of Dedham.
Katherine is survived by her sister, Patricia (Davis) Hultman, and her nieces, Kathleen and Kristina Hultman, all of Norwood. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Davis of Dedham, her nephew Edwin F. Davis III, of Walpole, her nieces Eileen Pacheco of Plymouth and Maureen Olivier of North Attleboro, and many beloved cousins.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Thursday, April 24 at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 23 from 4-8 pm. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
