Stephen L. Lescarbeau, 61, of Dartmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at home. He was the son of Eileen (Caton) Rice of Dartmouth and the late Leo Lescarbeau.
Born on October 4, 1952 in New Bedford, Stephen was a proud parent of 2 sons. He worked as an Electronics Technician for Raytheon; Defense and Aerospace Systems Co. since 1978; he had recently celebrated his 35th anniversary there this year. Stephen was best known for his incredible dry sense of humor. He enjoyed many pastimes such as attending concerts, traveling, dirt biking and hiking. His biggest passions in life were reading and music, especially playing his guitars.
Survivors along with his mother include his 2 sons: Adam P. Lescarbeau and his wife Priscilla L. of Westport and Jared S. Lescarbeau and his wife Priscilla D. of Westport; his brother: Jeffrey Lescarbeau of Dartmouth; his 4 grandchildren: Patric, Lucas, Landon and Penelope who affectionately referred to him as “Papa”; his former wife: Nancy (Sutcliffe) Lescarbeau; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Pacific Union Congregational Church, 526 Old County Rd., Westport, at 11:00 A.M.
Memorial visitation will be from 10-11 A.M., at the church, prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
