When I was many years younger, going to the "beauty shop" to have Lula Beth style my hair always promised a great visit and lots of fun.Our conversations ranged from what I was doing, where I was going, my school assignments to what was going on with Lula Beth - the arrival of her adored children, her beloved David Allen, her mother's column in the newspaper, her extended family, etc. The memory of her still brings joy. I know she will be dearly missed, and I want you "children" to know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Donna Bailey Dye

Teresa, I was so shocked when Mama called to tell me that she had received the paper and your Mama's obituary was in it. We went to visit her at the nursing home less than a month ago and had promised her we would back before Christmas. Your Mama was such a joy to be around. Mama talked to her almost every week or went by to visit with her at various times prior to your mom going to the nursing home. Mama will truly miss her and had we known, would have been at her funeral. I hope to see you in the near future as I have been staying with Mama for the past month and a half due to some health issues. I love you and am so sorry for your loss. April
