I was sad to hear of the passing of Assistant Superintendent John P. Mahoney. I would like to send along my condolences to Kay and her family. I was appointed to the Fire Alarm way back in June of 1979, and John was my boss from 1979 through 1985. John was a firm but fair leader, and a all around good guy. I will always remember that he went on and had a long and lasting retirement. God Bless Kay and her family Kevin McCarey
