Dearest Betty and family...... Tom was always my friend from the time we all spent together in the US Navy up until now..... I will never forget those glorious days in Puerto Rico while in the US Navy.....We were so young then..... Tom was my friend and I will miss him very much.....I'm glad you are surrounded by all of those 'Tuff Guy' firemen and relatives. Keep your head up and let them take care of every thing for you. Always Your Friend...... Don Flowers

To all our Carey cousins from the Forresters. We are so saddened by Tommy's passing. We share your grief and will always remember the million laughs Tommy brought whenever we were together. So many childhood memories and stories to talk about. We look forward to celebrating his life with all of you over the next few days. A really good man has passed.

The death of a loved one is the most difficult thing we deal with. May you find comfort and have faith in God’s promise of an earthly paradise where even death will no longer exist. That promise is found at Revelation 21:4, 5 which reads “And he [God} will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." As wonderful as it is that mourning, outcry and pain will be no more, God’s promise even includes doing away with mankind‘s ultimate enemy - death. 1 Corinthians 15:26. Sincere condolences for your loss.

To the entire Carey family: May Tom soar high with an Angel on his way to meet God. May God put his loving and protective arms around each of you to help you through your sad times. Betty, Paul and Cindy- know ours love and hearts have been with you. Love Deb and Sherman Tyrrell
