Dear Porter family, I was very sorry to hear of the death of your father and our uncle on Friday. I am also sorry that I will not be able to make the funeral this week. Suffice it to say, for me, Uncle Johnny was both a gentlemen and someone who knew how to enjoy life to its fullest. I have no doubt that your father will be sorely missed by all of you particularly at holiday times which he adored. Given the family he has left behind and the friendships he created, he has left this world with a massive "mission accomplished" banner flying along side him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
