Dunn Family -- Profoundest condolences to all on the passing of Fr. Bill. As the next youngest of the 40 odd cousins, I spent considerable time during our formative years with Bill. He being a 'city boy', I delighted in introducing him to the adventures on the farm. Frequently, our gatherings centered on the Dunn pilgrimage to TV-land so their father, Bob, could enjoy watching the Yankees in the World Series -- which was almost an annual event. Bill enjoyed a full, rich life serving man & God. He accomplished much that others only dream of and saw sights few have the vision to imagine. His was a remarkable life which touched multitudes. I am confident he has been called to better serve the One to which he has been faithful and served his entire life. jps

I was in the class behind Fr. Dunn in the seminary. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we often enjoyed trading barbs. He was very thoughtful and had a big heart. I always enjoyed his company. May he rest in peace!

I remember fondly my cousin Bill's kindnesses he showed our family when we visited him in the D.C. area many years ago and also enjoyed his visit with our Uncle Mike when Fr. Bill came to Minneapolis a few years back. Peace to my cousins at the loss of a brother - he was a kind and thoughtful man.

Sometimes there are no words and this is one of those times. I have. however, a few..... Father Dunn was a kind and good man and priest. May the Holy Spirit guide him in his rest in this magnificent season of Pentecost.

Fr. Bill was a great mentor to me while I was a seminarian at Blessed John XXIII and afterward, as I became a priest. He was always so friendly and willing to assist in any way possible. I will offer a Mass for his repose at my parish, Immaculate Conception. I miss him and honor his memory. Blessings and Condolences, Fr. Fred

Dear Dunn family... Father Dunn was a very special part of Saint Mary Parish in Chelmsford, MA...He taught us great faith and good humor. He always had a special way of relating the gospel to our every day life. He was a joy to have known. He always brought a smile to our faces. He always remembered everyones names and faces. We had the oppituniy to really get to know him on a more personal level when my father in law was dying during the summer of 2009. He would come and visit him at home and at the hospital. He would share many funny stories to help us with our faith and to keep of spirits up. We were very sad when we had to share him with Saint John's because he was so loved in Chelmsfords! So, We just want to thank you for sharing him with us and we hope your family finds comfort knowning he is with God and that he touched so many people in his short life. May God bless you all. With our deepest Sympathy, The Daly's Ginger, Mark, Mark"o", Brendon, Matt and Kasey

My condolensces for Fr. Dunn, his parish, and his family. He was a gentle man, who always had a great big smile for my children, who were born while Fr. Dunn was serving at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford. You could tell that he really did love his flock. Godspeed, Fr. Dunn!

Father Dunn was such a kind and discerning pastor to his flock. We have been so lucky to have had him, if even for such a relatively short time. We will remember him fondly and miss him greatly. John and Judith Mahoney

We will always remember his awesome dry sense of humor and that little twinkle in the eye when he would say "hi". We at St. Francis of Assisi parish in Braintree will always treasure his friendship and his spiritual leadership. He was a joy to all that knew him and he will be missed by all that were lucky enough to call him friend. Rest in Peace our friend until we met again in God light.

Jim and I will always remember Fr. Dunn from his tenure as parochial vicar at St. Mary's in Chelmsford. When Jim's sister's husband passed away 3 years ago, Fr. Dunn served at his funeral and brought great comfort to our family. We will always miss is dry sense of humor, his crazy jokes, but most of all his presence at our beloved St. Mary's. Fr. Dunn was a living example of faith, hope and love. His simple humility in serving the people of St. Mary's was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him so. Our prayers and deepest sympathy to his family. Jim and Karen Cusick

To: The Family of Father Dunn I would like to extend my deepest condoleneces for your sudden loss. Father Dunn had a distinct personality, he was soft spoken with his dry sense of humor.I work for the Joseph Russo Funeral Home and it was a pleasure to be at mass with him. Often on our rides to the cemetary we would always engage in great discussions about the Catholic Church and its future especially with the young people, we often spoke of our familys and asked how everyone was. I will certainly miss those times.
