Dear Marge (& Rich), I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. As no one can walk in another persons shoes, I can only share how difficult it is to lose a parent, as they are still our biggest support and "sounding boards" even as we reach adulthood. I know she can rest in peace knowing what a great daughter and son-in-law she had with the two of you, and all you've done in your church and community. My thoughts and prayers are with you both during this time of reflection. . . Health & Peace in the New Year! Your colleague & friend Paul Tomashefsky

Dear Stanley and Family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I too lost both my parents as well. It's not easy losing loved ones but I'm sure that with a family that is as big as yours has grown, you will have the support of each other. I will pray for all of you.

E. Rutherford, NJ,
Dearest Cathy and Family, Our love, thoughts, & prayers are with you today even though we cannot make the trip in person. Cathy's mom, dad, and siblings have always made us feel welcome in their midst, whether it be a major gathering or an informal visit. What I remember most is her warm, spirited laugh and seemingly bottomless enthusiasm. Jim's recollection of the fanciful "Welcome back from Hawaii" cake that she made that Labor Day for all of us still puts a grin on his face! (Imagine, if you will, blueberry jello on top of the frosting for the water, teddybear grahams for the surfers, a treasure chest on the beach, fish "swimming" on the sides, palm trees, etc.) She had such a good time creating it, it was a masterpiece to behold, and our mutual delight was only enhanced by her glee at presenting it. Her love and support for both her spouses and all the children as well as grandchildren will remain steadfast and true. The appreciation for Spirituality, honest work, simple pleasures, music, and family gatherings are a strong legacy to affect all of us for generations to come. We are most grateful the good Lord loaned her to us and allowed for our paths to cross. With much love, thoughts, & prayers of wishing you enough, Jim & Ramona

I was so sad to hear of Chuckie's passing. She was instrumental in helping her community and loved everything about our beloved Depot Train Station. Her enthusiasm about the renovating of the station was infectious and she and her husband were so excited about being a part of the project from the beginning. Their home is always such a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. I enjoyed reminiscing about the "old Salem" and how our community has evolved over the years, she inspired me and everyone she came in contact with to help preserve Salem's legacy. I know that she is watching over all of us and we will make the Depot Train Station beautiful just for her, God Bless you both, our prayers are with you and your children and grandchildren. We will leave the "station light" on for you!

Cathy,Stanley, Roger and Marjorie, I am so very sorry to hear of Chuckie's passing. I have such wonderful memories of our visits to your home when we were all so young. The best word I can use to describe Stumpie and Chuckie and their home is "comfortable". It was amazing that through all the chaos it was so very comfortable. We loved to visit you all. I can close my eyes and feel the warmth of the wood stove and the smell of Chuckie's cooking. Then gathering in the living room to watch those old home movies. I know how Mum and Dad had treasured their friendship with your parents and now Chuckie is reunited with them. I know that your Mom will be missed by so many but I'm sure that she has left behind so many wonderful memories for all that had the privilege of knowing her. Her wonderful wit will never be forgotten. I wish I could be there for the services, it will truly be a celebration of a wonderful life. God Bless all of you and your families. Your are a wonderful reflection of your parents.
