Maureen, my friend I sit here with tears reading about our sweet Brian. You know that once I went to work in Boston..it seemed like I lost touch with the world - but I always remembered the GREAT times I had with you and Brian. Thinking of it now brings a smile to my face. Maureen, I did not even know Brian was ill - and to read this is such a surprise to me. But I do know...that all the Parrotheads in Heaven are singing and partying and extremely lucky to have Brian "living on sponge cake" with them!..We definitely know where it's 5 o'clock!!! Love to you and your family...you're in my prayers Maureen. Thank you for sharing Brian and giving me such happy memories. Ann

New Bedford, MA,
To Brian Woolley's family---- I did not know Brian personally, but did not have to. Just hearing of his contributions to our city makes me feel like he was a friend of mine. He obviously had a 'great passion' for his fellow-man, & worked at showing it. He could have sat back, like so many do, & never lift a finger, except to do for himself. He chose to try to help others. I'm sure when he got to the Pearly Gates, there was no question that they were acquiring another angel to the force. He can now rest in peace. Take care of each other, & make use of the great examples that Brian left instilled for a better world. Be strong for each other & share the LOVE, keep the memories, & look to God for support. God Bless to all, & prayers are there to help you all get through the days ahead.

To Brian & Maureen, My deep sadness comes from a selfish place...I have lost another opportunity to laugh and sing with a truly deep and loving friend.. One of my most memorable events came as a result of Brian's spirit and confidence in my ability. A brief occasion in time that created an honorable friendship and a lasting memory. I will always be grateful. Jimmy Stowe

My deepest sympathy to you, Maureen, and your family. Brian was a true hero and someone who sincerely wanted to right the wrong in his neighborhood near the Parker Street Waste Site. I have no doubt in my mind that the toxic chemicals there were responsible for his illness and death. We will keep Brian "alive" in our endeavors as we continue his quest to make it a clean, safe site. You'll be in my prayers and I know Brian won't rest until this work is done. We'll do it, Brian and in your name we will!

I have the feeling there's one more star up in the sky tonite, Ms. Maureen. And even though it's far away, its brightness and warmth still reach us here to make the night a little less dark. IN THE WORDS OF JIMMY BUFFETT ... "The night was filled with magic as they bid the sea goodbye. They swam into the heavens - they stayed up in the sky. And all the island people when they wish upon a star, See the dolphin and the Jolly Mon who tell them where they are." Rest in Peace, my friend ...

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. You can be assured that comfort and hope are found in the pages of the Bible. Revelations 21:4 speaks of a time when sorrow will be no more. This is a wonderful hope during our times of grief and pain. Please take care of yourselves. Sincerely
