Patrick R. Stowell, 48, of New Bedford died Wednesday March 5, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Norma (Barriteau) Stowell and the late William E.A. Stowell, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Mr. Stowell was formerly employed by the Laborer's Union.
One of Patrick's greatest joys in life was getting to spend time with his son. He also loved playing basketball with his nieces and nephews, who adored him.
He is survived by his mother, Norma; his son, Matthew Breault of New Bedford; his siblings, William Stowell and his wife Victoria of New Bedford, Steven Stowell and his wife Yvonne and Beth Rocha and her husband Dr. Edward Klein, all of Dartmouth; his good friend, Kristine Kokoszka; and several nieces and nephews.
