Dear Michelle and David, This is Christine Calouro, now Pino, I have lived in Florida for the last 9 years. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My mother read the paper and informed me on Nates untimely passing. I am so sorry and you are in my thoughts and prayers, he was such a handsome young man. I remember him from being little when I watched him and Michelle would bring him into the credit union. Michelle you are in my thoughts often and I am sorry this is how you hear from me after nine years. If you are still at the credit union I promise to visit you when I am up there again, which should be the fall. I have a one year old daughter so as a parent now I can only imagine your pain. Take care and surround yourself with the love of your family. Fondly, Christine Pino

David and Michelle I remember when Nathan was first born and how proud you both were. As new parents we never know what's in store for us as our children develop and find their own way in life. He certainly was very accomplished in the arts and sports field and had a good life in front of him. Much of that love and encouragement I know came from you. I pray for him, for you both, and his family that we remember how he enriched our lives in the short time that he was with us. love, Celia & Jack (Gomes) McGillivray

Nate's death is something that no parent should ever go through. The death of one's child is something that no one can understand what that means unless they've gone through it themselves. I do know what your children are feeling. I lost a brother very suddenly, when he was 23 years old, in a car accident. Thirty years later, the memory of that loss is as fresh as it was then. I can promise the siblings that eventually, the wound won't always hurt minute to minute, but they will think of Nate often in the years ahead and wonder what life would have been like if he have lived. Pat and I know Nate through Greg Moraes, the son of our two friends, Kathy and Curt. We met Nate several times at different family events. I know that Greg will miss him and considered him a friend. We are so sorry for this deep sadness and loss. It isn't fair; Nate was just too young. You are in our prayers. Denise and Pat Gannon

My deepest condolences to the family and especially my student, Phoebe. I lost my brother Michael Freitas last school year. A loss of a brother is very painful. Michael was in Nate's graduating class. I wondered if they may have known each other. Even if they didn't, we now have two angels from the class of 2009 looking over us. God bless. Ms. Freitas
