Charlie Johnson passed peacefully after a brief illness on May 4th at the McCarthy Care Center. Charlie was a lifelong resident of Yarmouth Port and spent his ca- reer with the Cape Cod Gas Company. He spent a great deal of his time with his family on Bass River where he was a board member at the Yacht Club.
Charlie was the beloved husband of Joyce M. Collins. He was a devoted father and grandfather and leaves behind his children and grandchildren - Sarah A. Johnson of Provincetown; Stephanie A. Johnson of Yarmouth Port and her children Montie, Katherine and Colby; and Craig E. Johnson and his wife Karen of Mashpee and their sons, Benjamin, Samuel and Alexander.
