Valerie J. (Gregoire) Faria, 59 of Hudson, NH passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
She was born in Lowell on May 24, 1964 and was a daughter of the late Gerald S. and Mary R. (Johansen) Gregoire. She was raised in Lowell, where she attended the area schools.
Valerie relocated to Hudson to start her family. She began a career in banking but shortly after having her children she decided that’s where her heart was. She loved her children unconditionally and was more than a sister to her two siblings, she was their friend. She worked as a Personal Care Attendant, taking care of her loving son Deric.
She found solace while reading, playing cards, or making puzzles, but most of all she cherished time spent with her family vacationing at Salisbury Beach and Florida each year. She will forever be in our hearts.
Valerie is survived by her two sons, Ryan Faria and his wife, Kathryn of Lowell, and Deric Faria of Lowell; her sisters, Deborah A. Letourneau and her husband, David of Goffstown, NH, Georgette M. Gregoire of Goffstown, NH; her former husband and longtime friend, Fil Faria; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was also anxiously anticipating her first grandchild.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 4-7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell 978-458-6816. Her funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 7 p.m. following the calling hours. Her burial will take place privately at a later date.
